Terms of Use

Welcome to Voltrade (voltrade-8ew.pages.dev, the "Site"). The Site is a listings board for private individuals: sellers list their cars, and electric vehicle owners can offer them an exchange (a trade-in), with or without an additional cash payment. By using the Site, posting a listing or sending an offer, you agree to these Terms and to the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Site.

1. What the Site does, and what it does not do

  • The Site is solely a technical platform on which private users post listings and send offers to one another.
  • The operators of Voltrade are not a party to any transaction. They are not dealers, brokers, agents or appraisers. They do not buy, sell or hold any vehicle or money, and they do not charge any commission.
  • The Site does not display a price guide and does not assess the value of any vehicle. An asking price, where shown, is set by the seller alone.
  • The operators of Voltrade do not inspect the vehicles, vet the users or verify the accuracy of listings, and they do not guarantee that any transaction will take place.

2. Who may use the Site

  • The Site is for users aged 18 and over only.
  • Listings may be posted by private individuals only. Car dealers, leasing and rental companies, and anyone who sells vehicles as a business may not post listings, nor may they pose as private individuals.
  • You may list only a vehicle that you own, or that you are authorized to sell.

3. Listings and offers

  • A trade-in offer on the Site is a non-binding proposal to enter into negotiations. It is not a contract, it is not an offer within the meaning of contract law, and it does not bind either party. A transaction is concluded only through a direct agreement between the parties, outside the Site.
  • When a seller indicates interest in an offer, or when an offeror accepts a counter-offer, the contact details of both parties are disclosed to each other. Whatever happens from that point on is the sole responsibility of the parties.
  • A listing remains active for 60 days and can be renewed. Listings that are not renewed are removed from the Site and deleted in accordance with the Privacy Policy.
  • You may not post more than one listing for the same vehicle.

4. Your commitments regarding your content

  • The details are true, accurate and up to date, including mileage, number of owners, battery condition and known accidents.
  • The photos were taken by you, or you have the right to publish them. They show the vehicle actually being offered.
  • You may not post: false or misleading information; offensive, threatening, discriminatory or unlawful content; personal information about others; contact details or links in the listing description; advertising, spam or referrals to other websites; a stolen vehicle, a vehicle subject to an undisclosed lien, or a vehicle that may not be transferred into another person's name.
  • You may not attempt to circumvent the Site's protection mechanisms, collect data from it by automated means (scraping), overload it or disrupt its operation.

5. License to your content

The content you post remains yours. By posting it, you grant the operators of Voltrade a royalty-free, non-exclusive, worldwide license to display it on the Site and in its apps, and to process it technically (for example, by resizing photos and removing hidden metadata), for as long as the listing or offer exists. The license ends when the content is deleted.

6. Moderation and removal

  • The operators of Voltrade may, but are not obliged to, review content. They may hide, technically edit or delete a listing, offer or photo, and block use of the Site, where it appears that the content or use violates these Terms, the law or the rights of others.
  • You can report a listing using the "Report this listing" link, or through the "Contact" page. Reports are reviewed promptly.
  • Requests to remove content that infringes copyright or privacy: through the "Contact" page (voltrade-8ew.pages.dev/en/contact/).

7. Registration data and VIN decoding

The automatic filling of details by license plate number draws on the open database of the Israeli Ministry of Transport and Road Safety (data.gov.il). Decoding by VIN (chassis number) draws on the NHTSA database of the U.S. Department of Transportation. The data is displayed as is, may be incomplete, inaccurate or out of date, and is no substitute for inspecting the vehicle or checking with the vehicle licensing authority. The operators of Voltrade are not responsible for its accuracy.

8. Safety

Before any transaction: have the vehicle inspected at an authorized inspection center, make sure that the seller is the registered owner and that the vehicle is free of any lien or attachment, and complete the transfer of ownership as required by law. Do not transfer any money or deposit before you have seen the vehicle and its documents. More tips are available on the "Safe Trading Tips" page (voltrade-8ew.pages.dev/en/safety/).

9. No advertising

The Site has no advertising, no sponsored content and no affiliate links. It is free to use.

10. Limitation of liability

  • To the extent permitted by law, the Site is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE", without any commitment that it will be continuously available, that it will be free of faults, or that no information will be lost.
  • To the extent permitted by law, the operators of Voltrade will not be liable for any direct or indirect damage, loss or expense arising from the use of the Site, from content posted by users, from any representation made by a user, from any transaction or negotiation between users, from inaccurate registration data, from the loss of a management link, or from any malfunction.
  • Nothing in these Terms excludes any liability that cannot be excluded by law, including under the consumer protection laws that apply to you.

11. Indemnification

If you breach these Terms or the law, and as a result a claim or demand is brought against the operators of Voltrade, you will indemnify them for the reasonable expenses they incur, including legal fees, to the extent permitted by law.

12. The management link

The Site has no accounts or passwords. Each listing and each vehicle is managed through a personal, secret management link. Anyone who holds the link can edit, view offers and delete. Keep it safe and do not share it. The operators of Voltrade cannot recover a lost link and are not responsible for the use of a link that has reached others.

13. Changes and discontinuation of the service

The operators of Voltrade may change the Site and these Terms, or discontinue the service, at any time. Any material change to these Terms will be posted on the Site. The date at the bottom of this page shows when these Terms were last updated.

14. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms and the use of the Site are governed exclusively by the laws of the State of Israel. To the extent permitted by law, the competent courts in Tel Aviv-Jaffa will have exclusive jurisdiction. If you are a consumer residing outside Israel, nothing in this section deprives you of the protection of the mandatory provisions of the law of your country.
